I was really too busy this Lent to allow myself any Sabbath.
But god is merciful, I found opportunities, mostly by circumstances which forced me, to sit back and reflect on Holy Friday (Good Friday).
The Cross I captured on my camera on Holy Friday
I found more and more we are getting used to a domesticated Christianity, [...]

I’ve arrived in Malaysia! After almost three weeks away in the land of the free and home of the brave, Amerika Syarikat!
There are many things to be shared there, but I will slowly digest them and try to write it out as soon as possible.
For now, I am quite happy that the two articles I [...]

Freezing my cheeks roaming Washington DC with 2 million Americans…
… and with YB Hannah Yeoh, of course (Subang Jaya, you’ve got one great ADUN there! Syabas!).
Millions of Americans came to be inspired, and millions around the world watch on TV and over the Internet one of the most inspiring moments of our times. (JR and [...]

Here I am, finally touched down in Washington DC.
Travelling about 17 hours is no fun, especially when I am holding with me a huge leather trenchcoat. That makes the little space of my seat even smaller. But yeah, I’ve arrived at the heart of the world’s superpower. I wonder how Paul felt arriving at Rome [...]

(The title is a “steal” from my bartending-philospher friend’s blog, iwokeupinasia).
I have arrived at Changi Airport, Singapore late last night. Checked into the Ambassador Transit Hotel for a two hour sleep and now ready to go again.
JR & I, missing her very much already…photo taken at the Penang Airport before departure last night.

My new toy…
Acer Aspire One (white), simple, sleak, no fuss.
249 x 170 x 29 mm – great for portability.
I have finally conceeded that I will not create any big bang computer programming or graphic design, so this little toy is all that I need to be connected to the world (read: blogging, google, gmail, facebook, [...]

JR and I was at Singapore last Christmas…loved the great time spent together and with Josh (and PY)…
Enjoyed the coffee table discussion with Dominic – this is one brilliant guy – he made me realized Singapore is a pain in the ass for liberal democracy, or rather, to see democracy in newer light of a [...]
