Keadilan Untuk Semua(4)

3.00 AM - Just came back from urgent meeting at CM’s house in Penang…

Press Conference outside the Perda Police HQ Gate
I received the news of Ms. Tan Hoon Cheng’s arrest about 9.00 PM yesterday from CM’s political secretary while coming back from a dinner. JR and I immediately rushed to the district police HQ to [...]

Dr. Tan Kee Kwong, Another Conscientious Leader(0)

The prodigal son has returned…Dr. Tan Kee Kwong, the son of Mr. Opposition, the late Tan Sri Dr. Tan Chee Koon (former Labour party MP and later Gerakan founder) joined the chorus of conscientious Gerakan leaders to cut ties with the hopeless UMNO’s-rubber-stamp party to joined the Pakatan Rakyat coalition.
Welcome home, Dr. Tan
Dr. Koh Tsu [...]

Merdeka-kah Kita?(0)

As I was reading Ahmad Ismail’s statement and his reiteration of the supposed “racist” statement, I remembered a little “berbalas pantun” I had with a Malaysiakini reader two years back:
He wrote:
Ishak Abd Rahman:
Surat protest di katakan ultimatum Pemuda
Memorandum komponen BN dikatakan permintaaan saja
Jeff Ooi dan Malaysiakini nak main isu apa?
Bebaik nanti termakan kata kata [...]

Could Anwar Have Won With A Bigger Majority?(1)

My friend, CH sent me an interesting calculation…
At the closing of the poll, it was reported about 65% of the voters turned out (Malaysiakini even reported this piece of info being quoted by Election Commission secretary Kamaruzaman at 6.55pm). But in the end, Election Commission reported that the actual turnout was about 80%. That’s 15% of [...]

Gerakan, Gerak Ke Mana?(0)

During the polling day at Teluk Wang, there was a sole Gerakan member who presumably was a voter at the polling centre there. I respect his loyalty to racist UMNO (I mean, they were the ones who shouted “Cina mati” at us), he even led in the cheer a few times…way to go bro!
Anyway, this [...]

Votes from UMNO to Pakatan Rakyat(0)

I got this nice little statitistical data on email this morning…The turnout was almost the same during 308 GE and 826 BE with only 477 voters lesser on 826 BE, but UMNO suffered a greater lost compared to 308! Arif Shah’s vote was 1426 lesser than what UMNO received earlier in March. And Anwar Ibrahim [...]

Reformasi! Anwar Going to Parliament Tomorrow!(0)

An intense week of campaigning just ended for me…
I was on duty at the Teluk Wang polling district for the P44 Pmtng Pauh By-Election since about 8 am this morning. Some interesting observations:
1. Although there were waves of blue Barisan Nasional posters and flags everywhere, the presence of a single race Malay supporters in Arif [...]

Putera O Putera(1)

I met with my old fren Chris today, he is volunteering with Mafrel to monitor the P44 BE. We went out for dinner together with another key Mafrel leader, BK Ong. It was good meeting with Chris again, after dinner he showed me some photos taken by Mafrel volunteers worthy to match the Puteris in [...]

Puteri O Puteri(1)

What are they (Puteri UMNO members) doing pointing to the poor boy’s behind? “Undi-lah Barisan Nasional”.

Anyway, did PKR really whack journalists? Who knows? There were tens of thousands of people that day and even if the Rocky was wearing Pakatan Rakyat tshirts, PKR kept throwing out free tshirts to the crowd, by the hundreds. And [...]
