P44 Nomination Day - Change Dream Team
PR and BN said there’ll be about 100, 000 people at the Nomination Centre tomorrow. It’ll be helluva logistic nightmare…Two entry points to the Maktab Perguruan Tengku Bainun are the Butterworth-Kulim Highway, and Jalan Berapit (from Bkt. Mertajam).
The green arrow is the entry into the road leading up to the Maktab (marked by the blue A buble). There will be bottleneck at Jalan Berapit and also the junction marked by the green arrow above. And parking will be another huge problem so I hope supporters of both parties will car pool as much as possible. I forsee rampant parking along the narrow streets adjoining to Jalan Berapit - P129 and little road leading to the Maktab. (click HERE for map put up by PKR folks)
MUST car pool as much as possible and park far away from the Nomination centre so that there won’t be traffic going to and fro with the huge crowd gathering there. Please also abide by police instruction on the gathering time and hopefully organizers from both PR and BN will keep the crowd cool. The pocession of BN supporters is scheduled at 7.30 AM while PR supporters will walk in at 8.00 AM. PR will group to the left of the green arrow (marked with a red square) while BN will group to the right of the green arrow (marked with a blue square).
