CM in St. Anne’s

Just came back from St. Anne’s Novena…latin rites. No wonder some people love them. They do really give an “out of this world” taste to the whole sacred mass thing. You get the shiver when they chant the Creedo in latino et al.

And prester Steven Liew (so I heard his name) with mitre on his head (another “out of this world” feeling) gave a timely reminder that all the fulfilled prayers and miracles at St. Anne’s should not shadow her greater deeds as a Mother and Tutor of the Scripture (to her kids - he said many depictions of Anne was her opening up the scripture to little Mary).

The best part was CM Lim Guan Eng was there! Sat through the whole mass and then walked the compound of the Church with the parish priest, greetings worshippers and pilgrims. God save the CM!

And, I’ve got a gift today -
