Terengganu Lagi
I’ll be flying to Terengganu in a three hours time. The orginal flight was supposed to be 9.35 am but was postponed to 11.05am. But nothing to complain, FireFlyz. It’s cheap, fast and seriously, inflight service was reasonably good despite having only two cabin on the Penang-Kuala Terengganu route.
Had some photos to post, but I’ll have to wait till I come back…but just a few interesting stuff last weekends:
1. Friday – attended friends’ wedding. Surprised to bump into Chong Eng there.
2. Saturday – went for inter-assembly games and later fuel hike protest at Sungai Dua toll (photos to come)
3. Sunday – brought my whole family to Parents’ Day celebration in Mengkuang Dam. My colleague Xin Ying did a wonderful job organizing the event. Met up with a senior staff from US embassy at almost midnite (!!) for my application to participate in an exchange program to the States early next year.
And now for SUKMA12 closing in Terengganu. I don’t think Penang can boast much glory this year (we’re currently at 8th placing), but there are a few sports which we did exceptionally well. No matter what, well done team, you have fought hard and deserved a heroic return nonetheless. Melaka 2010, we’ll fight on!
