Champions Youth Cup?

I don’t know whether to be happy or sad or just -_____-.

Kementerian Belia dan Sukan this evening announced that they have no problem with Champions Youth Cup being held. The Ministry now pushes the responsibility of negotiating with FAM to Gifted

After all the hoohahs here and here, I sort of lost hope in the Ministry to stand by their words.

Just last week, my source told me that the Ministry will be sued, I guess they knew very well that they won’t stand a chance (though previously, someone in the Ministry told me that the AG was reviewing the situation). So they now say, “we’ve no problem, do it, but deal with FAM yourself”.

Bah~

Now we’ve released all our sponsors. I am not sure if come tomorrow, I’ll need to chase the bucks again for this project. I mean, deep inside me, this is a good thing, but the Ministry’s seemly arbitrariness in their stance is driving everyone crazy. I don’t want to get the sponsors back only to disappoint them again.

hi….hopefully u still remember me….. today i scrolled at the internet if there is any info bout CYC although the company is no longer available n i’m not working with them anymore but still i need the closure. till todate nothing happened except from the ministry saying that it still in discussion with the AG…. from the comments written by you… i really shocked n appreciate it… at least someone do realize our effort on this project…. send my regards to YB….

I am a true-blood Penang "kia" (son of Penang) who love everything about my beautiful home-state, well, almost everything. :) Formerly I served as the Special Assistant to the Penang State Executive Councillor (State-level ministerial post) in charge of Youth and Sports. I am now pursuing an MA in Philosophy at a local university. I am also the Executive Secretary of the Network of Social Democracy in Asia (www.socdem.asia) and sit on the committee of the State-sponsored Good Governance and Gender Equality Society (3Gs).
