Following my post about Champions Youth Cup (CYC) being called off by the Youth & Sports Minister, a senior officer of the ministry told me today that the Ministry actually HAVE NOT decided to call off CYC YET.

I was told that a meeting between the Ministry and CYC organizer, Gifted Group will be done next week to discuss further on the event.

And I was also told the Ministry will consult A-G on the contractual terms before deciding.

So what’s happening? Is CYC still going to happen or not?

Is the Ministry discussing a new term with Gifted since FAM is already out or is the Ministry already strategizing with the A-G dept. to dispute the contract? 

With the clock ticking on the planned dates of CYC, I am really frustrated with the lackadasical attitude and indecisiveness of Ministry in tackling this issue.  And not to mention their blardy slowness…

So what now Datuk?

I am now embarking on two other projects for Penang… CYC, UNCERTAINTY, that’s all that I can say.
