I am going to Terengganu for SUKMA 08 tomorrow. Prof. Yunus’ book will be my companion. JR bought it for me as one of my bday gifts. I can’t say he has got brilliant economic ideas, but well, his ideas were brave and they simply worked. Maybe not much of an economic analysis than an [...]

Entire and whole and perfect, the service of my love:

Before I can sigh a relief after the political terrorism done on Perak DAP HQ, I read the news of this despicable act to Karpal Singh on malaysiakini.com this morning: Live bullet sent to Karpal.
What is happening in our country now? Have we been breeding some sort of political gangsters, or worse, political terrorists. This is not only an intimidation to one man’s life, but also a mockery and a threat to our democracy!

My heart sank when I read this news Perak DAP HQ Damaged By Petrol Bomb This Morning
All Malaysians must come together to condemn and deplore such action so that this would not be the start of a new trend of politically motivated terrorism. Pak Lah and Home Minister Syed Hamid must publicly condemn such act [...]
